Lehigh Public Library Strategic Plan for 2025-2030:

 

Goals:

  1. Continue and expand efforts to inform the community about the resources and services offered by the library.
  2. Continue enhancing and refining programs that engage the community's residents
  3. Enhance and broaden our range of materials and access to information.

Strategies:

 

Goal 1: Continue and expand efforts to inform the community about the resources and services offered by the library.

  1. Coordinate with the city clerk to regularly distribute informative mailers to citizens.
  2. Initiate a discussion forum for social media followers where they can share and discuss the books they are currently reading and their thoughts on them.
  3. Add a website section for regular updates on library services.
  4. Expand our presence at the local parade.

 

Goal 2: Continue enhancing and refining programs that engage the community's residents.

  1. Establish regular passive programs for adults.
  2. Expand the collection of local historical items and documents to ensure broader access.
  3. Expand program offerings further based on feedback from citizens.

 

Goal 3: Enhance and broaden our range of materials and access to information.

  1. Establish and broaden the range of offerings in the "Library of Things".
  2. Promote the "Library of Things" through the website and social media.
  3. Establishing and promoting a new library website that is more accessible and user-friendly.

 

 

The goals of this plan were formulated using patron suggestions and the data collected from the 2024 community survey.
